Faida is an old, battle scared, Spotted hyena and is a current resident of Lake Magadi in the Ngorongoro Crater. Faida is the current matriarch of Lake Magadi's hyena clan.

Physical appearance[]

Faida appears to be an old, female Spotted hyena with battle scars on her muzzle. She has a light greyish-brown coat with dark brown ears, mask, spots, legs, and tail. Faida has curvy ears that have round tips at the end. She has a narrow face and yellowish teeth. Her eyes are brown and she has a long, wavy, orange mane on her neck.

Personality[]

Despite her being feared by the other animals in Lake Magadi, but on the inside, she is a big softie towards other animals. And despite her appearing to be deranged and paranoid all the time, she is actually a lot more cunning then she appears to be. To others besides Faida, she appears to be resigned to the doomsday that is around the corner, but she tries to make the best of it; Befriending and helping other animals that are in need.

Badru is Faida's most trusted follower and is the highest-ranking male hyena in the clan so far, he always agrees to the plans that Faida makes. And it's that reason that she allowed Badru to live more than the other males in the clan.
